It took a few months longer than many of us expected, but Jessa Duggar has given fans a reason to watch 19 Kids and Counting online next year:
The reality star is pregnant with her first child!!!
Chatter over Jessa’s expecting state heated up in March when photos surfaced of Ben Seewald cradling Duggar’s tummy, then hiding it with a cowboy hat.
Well, the rumors weren't wrong.
People Magazine has confirmed moments ago that Jessa and Ben will soon be welcoming a baby, providing the photographic evidence to go along with it:
"We're expecting!" Jessa tells the publication. "We are so excited."
"The due date is November first, our wedding anniversary."
The Duggars don't waste a lot of time with this, do they?
Ben adds that the couple is "so excited to be parents."
Jessa Duggar is third daughter born to Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. Just two weeks ago, sister Jill Dillard welcomed her first child into the world, a son named Israel.
"I am feeling pretty good," says Jessa.
"The morning sickness was different every day. It's getting better, but I'm still hanging on to the heartburn. And I don't have any super-serious food cravings."
Jessa and Ben have talked in the past about adoption, and the former confirms that their “hearts haven’t changed” when it comes to this; they are still “making plans.”
But those plans will need to be placed on hold until they're married at least two years (per Arkansas state law), so they found a substitute for a little while at least:
There's another Duggar baby on the way!
"I am not comparing, not worrying about what could happen, we are just getting prepared," Jessa says. "I think having this first year together to share our lives, just the two of us, has been special."
"We are definitely excited to be parents."
