As the world eagerly anticipates the arrival of Kate Middleton and Prince William's second child ... they may have to anticipate up to a week longer!
Parking restrictions outside of the Duchess' hospital have been extended through May 4, a sign that she is not showing any signs of labor just yet.
Moreover, she was spotted taking Prince George to swim lessons earlier this week, personally driving the 21-month-old tot to his aquatic adventure.
That same day, the pregnant Duchess and her husband, Prince William, sent their appreciation to royal super fans camped outside of the Lindo Wing.
The fans, awaiting the moment Middleton goes into labor and decked out in head-to-toe Union Jack garb, were gifted pastries and tea by the duo.
A palace aide said of the gesture: "The Duke and Duchess saw reports of them camped out and wanted them to know they were thinking of them."
One of the Brits camped out near the entrance said of the couple:
"We couldn't believe it. One of the officers dropped it off and said it was from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. It was a lovely gesture, smashing."
Wednesday marked William and Kate's fourth anniversary, but despite how perfect a gift that would've been for each, Royal Baby #2 did not arrive.
Remember, George came more than a week after his due date, so this isn't a cause for concern, nor unprecedented by any means.
Whether Kate will be induced soon, as has been rumored in the press this week, is also subject to debate. She may just ride it out.
As for the royal baby names, and gender ... all bets are ON!
Girl and Alice seem to be the favorites among people wagering money on this ... so good luck to anyone who decided to roll the dice.
